We're excited to share that we're giving you more options to seamlessly connect your Fellow meeting notes to your Salesforce records.
Now, when sending your Fellow note to Salesforce you will have the choice to either create a Note or a Task (Call) in Salesforce, giving you more flexibility in how you organize your meeting notes.

Would like to send notes to the meeting event that is already in SF instead of going in as a call

Adding these notes to the meetings just ties everything together
At the moment i have a meeting in Salesforce, which is the same one in Fellow but my notes from the meeting are going into a separate record....this means that the meeting and notes in SF are disconnected. ALso, it is incorrectly increasing my activity metric as for 1 meeting i now have 1 meeting and 1 call activity record.

attach to Salesforce NOTES (not a task)

Salesforce provides and HTML notes feature. Any note can be associated with multiple common objects (Account, Opportunity, Lead, Contact, etc.).
See Salesforce Notes:
Fellow, by creating a completed task filled with meeting note content, is not utilizing the Salesforce Notes feature.
Completed tasks are buried in activity streams and quite difficult to surface. They are not suitable for reviewing meeting histories. Notes are.
Please attached Fellow notes to Salesforce as Salesforce Notes. Allow the Fellow user to choose the multiple objects to which a Note should be associated, and to edit the subject line of the note before sending.
Subject line editing is important because so many prospect and customer meetings are created with meaningless lazy subjects (e.g., "Meeting," "Intro," "Demo,")

I am surprised there are not more requests for this. It is a huge barrier to entry if it is important to have notes in SFDC. I know of almost no AE that would go digging through Activities and click the "Show All Activities" to see IF there are any notes from an outside source. For us, it will likely be a non-starter going forward.
