I would much prefer to be able to more easily set templates when needed.
Every time I need to change to another template, it takes a bit of effort and I don’t have the time during a call to do this easily: It requires me to go into the template browser, find the template, select it and so forth. If I’m in a hurry on a call, I typically just delete the current template and start typing.
What I’d like to be able to do is:
  1. Get to templates more easily, namely in a drop down menu of favorites in the stream/notepad.
  2. Have a personal default for templates. I see a few ways this could work:
A. Rules that define when user templates are enacted. Example, if I’m on a call with a person outside of our domain. Or when I’m in a session with people that match certain rules, Example: if certain email addresses are grouped on a call, then use a certain template. B. The ability to override the current template easily as an Admin (or anyone), via a quick selection or a question like “do you want to override this template with your custom template? All Data will get erased?" C. A general blanket setting that forces all of my default setting per user. So if no one else from my domain is on the stream, then my template will get enacted. When we were with Hugo prior, it was quite easy to set a template on the fly, which didn’t require browsing for templates during the call.
