User would like to stop the AI Note Taker from creating Ai generated action items and automatically adding them to their notes.

To be more precise and as mentioned in my first question to you: The nuisance is not AI Note Taker detecting and generating Action Items. On the contrary, this is actually quite helpful. The request is to enable the automatic addition of these action items to the daily agendas to be switched off. This is because they are simply listed under the agenda and eventually result in a very long list that you don't necessarily work with. "Ability to admin the AI Note Taker generated Action Items" describes the request better. I do agree with Bryan's desvription below. Thanks.

I love AI generated action items the way they were in the past. I don't want them to go away. Put them back in the recap and let us pick them. Keep them OUT of the notes.

I reached out about this in April and was told the team was working on a fix for this (at the time) new functionality. It's almost the end of July and our department has since stopped referring to our Fellow notes for our regular sync meetings because the AI action items have made them unusable without constant upkeep. It's really a shame because prior to whatever update this was, the option to add AI-captured action items was really helpful. Then it was forced on us and, as many other commenters have noted, caused so much extra work to manage our meeting notes.
I'm kind of shocked more folks haven't made noise about this.
Please prioritize this fix and give us back the option whether to automatically add the AI notes or not, or add them on an individual basis from the Recap screen.

Hi Austin Meyer, I'm really sorry to hear about this experience - we are actively working on a solution to give you the option you mentioned, thanks to your feedback and others like it.

Thank you Isaac Winters! Glad to hear it. Looking forward to the solution when it's ready.

Conceptually great, however, the noise & clean up it generates outweighs the usefulness in its current state.

There are FAR too many action items being generated and in a world where tokens weren't a thing, I imagine companies wouldn't care about the cost of AI "waste". Like some others said, it's like a 10:1 ratio of AI generated action items vs actual needed items. I appreciated them for a bit, but then realized it was making me second guess the content of a meeting and I find myself re-watching the recordings just to make sure that it wasn't actually an action item. Lots of time spent cleaning up AI fluff instead of doing the work I need to be doing.

Please make AI generated action items optional again, they are clogging up my legitimate action items and causing duplicates. The AI is also incorrectly generating action items for items where no further action is needed. In one of my recent meetings, there was 15-20 AI generated action items and only 1-2 were needed.

i liked the auto-generated action items when they were optional, but now that they are automatically added to my list I get a lot of duplicated and unnecessary items and it's impossible to manage my to-do list. My team has the same complaint. This once awesome feature is now a headache :(

Super important that users are left to optimize their action items, and so all future AI integrations be left OPTIONAL.

Please make it optional as it cause duplication on our meeting notes and some of the items note are not to take action with.
